Todays ride was real interesting. It was just Dino,Tom and I. We took Elena but reversed it so we have the big hill first. ANyway it was real hot around 87 but it felt more like 95 and there was wind about 12mph. That made it even worse. Is there such a thing as wind heat factor like wind chill factor. Anyway i thought we were going to conserve energy by taking old page mill road but ended up taking pagemill all the way up. I wanted to challenge tom on the first big hill just to see where he's at. I guess Tom waited too long to make his move cuz the hill halfway up just tore us all up. I stood up only after Dino stood up as well. Tom was probably drained just like the rest of us so he didnt even try.By the time deer creek rolled around I was seeing stars and tunnel vision was setting in. Dino was strong and so was Tom whom i believe waited and stored all his energy to take Dino on the last hill. Well i gave it a shot and from the back Tom looked like he was hanging in there and couldve caught up to Dino but Dino was all Lance Armstrong and powered up the hill. I still say Tom had somethig up his sleeve for Dino but it was just tooo hot to do it. Dino himself did not look good cuz of the heat. Well tomorrow should be interesting cuz its going to be another scorcher
