Todays ride was better than yesterday since it was only 75 with a slight cool breeze. Thank godness cuz Willis decided to take us to Moody Road today to see how fit he is. Basically its a straight hill climb 3 miles long .PAige ,Dino ,Kevin and myself rode without TOm . As usual it was pretty fast before we got to the base but then on the first hairpin uphill turn we noticed Willis and Dino were getting into already. I guess they wanted to push each other today. I cant report much being in the back all day long but they told me that the battle was good up there between Dino "Lance" Gatmen and the German investor Willis Wong. Thats a totally weird story. Anyway Kevin was not into it today cuz he was really just taking it easy While Paige kept up with Dino and willis. In the end i guess willis told Dino that he pushed him today I really know kevin was not in it cuz i saw him half way up cuz he dropped his glasses . We just cruised it up till the top. Man he's strong Only a double in the front and i was tinkering with the granny's . Yes i can admit that but im sure when people take this hill for the first time thats what theyll do. The way down from moody as usual was exciting with gravel and construction and the forever lingering 500 fott drop to the side. I can report that we did not encounter any deer on the flats on the back side. We had to stop for a couple of minutes for construction. We decided not to go up elena since Dino said he was tired and just took the shortcut on parisma. The last hill on Deer Creek was uneventful and Paige led the way with the guys taking the anchor. No challenges just a nice leisurely finish to a perfect day to ride.
